Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at cabinsgatesmartfurniture@gmail.com. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the provided address only. 

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Thank you for shopping at Cabinsgate Smart Furniture. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we’re here to help.


Returns

  • Timeframe: You have 30 calendar days from the date you receive your item to request a return.
  • Condition: To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging. Assembled, modified, or damaged furniture may not be eligible.
  • Proof of purchase: A receipt or order confirmation is required to complete your return.
  • Non‑returnable items:
    • Custom or special‑order furniture
    • Clearance or final sale items
    • Gift cards
    • Items marked “non‑returnable” on the product page

Return process

  1. Contact us at [support email] or via the contact page on our website to request a return and obtain a Return Authorization Number (RMA).
  2. Pack the item securely in its original packaging, including all accessories and manuals.
  3. Ship the item to the address provided with your RMA. For large or heavy furniture, we may help arrange pickup – please contact us before shipping.

You are responsible for paying the return shipping costs unless the item is defective or we made an error. Shipping costs are non‑refundable.

Restocking fee

A 15% restocking fee may apply to returned furniture items. This fee will be deducted from your refund. We do not charge restocking fees for defective items or errors on our part.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • Approved refunds: A credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 10 business days.
  • Partial refunds: Items returned with signs of use, missing parts, or damaged packaging may receive only a partial refund.
  • Late or missing refunds: If you haven’t received a refund after 10 business days, first check your bank account, then contact your credit card company or payment provider (processing times vary). If you’ve done all of this and still have not received your refund, please contact us.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item. We will evaluate the issue and make it right – usually with a replacement, refund, or by covering return shipping.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange for a different item, please return the original item (see “Returns” above) and place a new order.

Cancellations

You may cancel an order within 6 hours of placing it. After that, the order may already be processed for shipping and a return will be required. To cancel, contact us immediately with your order number.
